Can I have a boyfriend yet?

My friend Bryson and I got together the other night to play and he decided that he needed to give me a kiss!! What is this kissing thing? I am not sure I like this. Boy cooties, eeewww!!

My Baptism 1-20-08

Well I was baptized today at Peace Lutheran Church in Plainfield. I was great during the service, just as I had promised! I didn't even cry when they put water on my head. My Mom bought me a beautiful dress! I don't think I will be that dressed up again until I am married. Here are some pictures of me, my Mom, my Dad, and my God parents Aimee and Nate. My Great Grandma also took a really nice picture with me too!!

Hmm, might not be big enough

I got this cool new toy, but I don't think I am big enough for it yet. My feet are dangling and my arms don't quite reach the toys. Hopefully Mommy will help me play with this. It looks like a lot of fun!

My first Christmas! Presents, I love presents!

Wow, this Christmas thing is cool. I get presents and I get to rip the paper off of them to see what kind of surprise is inside. I am trying to rip the paper off, but it is hard so Mommy has to help me. How did Santa get these presents in here? I should have heard him or something. You know I am awake at least once every night. I will catch him next year. Oh, wait Mommy keeps talking about an elf on a shelf that will be watching me. I guess I better be good!!

My high chair is great!

Every night for the last two months I have cried while Mommy and Daddy are eating dinner. I think they should be paying attention to me at all times. So, apparently Mommy got sick of getting up constantly and eating with one hand while holding me with the other. She brought this fancy chair up from the basement. I love it! I can sit with them at dinner, just like I am a big girl. I can't wait until I can throw my food at them from this thing!!

My swing, I love my swing.

I just love my swing. But, of course I can't use it properly. I have to be difficult. Only Daddy can get me in here just the right way, Mommy can't do it right. This is the only way I am comfortable. I fall right asleep just like this.

Seriously, Mom!!!!

Mom, what are you thinking? Do you really think this is necessary? Is it really that cold outside that I need to look like an eskimo?

Happy 1 month birthday to me!!

Well, it is my 1 month birthday!! It has been a great month and I think I am adjusting well to my new world. I have so much to learn and interact with. I can wait to see what each new month is going to bring me. Mommy and Daddy bought me this outfit before I was born and even though that they knew the Bears sucked!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanksgiving was fun! I got to meet a lot of people and all of my family was there. I don't think I was put down for more than 5 minutes. I enjoy being with other people and did my best not to cry. By the time everyone was eating, I was getting really tired. I slept all the way home and even after I got there. Mommy and Daddy tried to get me to take pictures, but all I could do was sleep.

Bath time with Mommy!!

Oh, bath time! I can't quite figure out why I have to be put in water and have a towel wiped all over me. I really prefer to have my clothes on and be nice and warm. Hopefully this won't last a long time. Maybe I can splash Mommy with some of this water to make it go faster. Do you think she will get mad?

Bryson's Baptism

My friend Bryson got baptized today!! I got dressed up in a very pretty pink dress and was quiet the whole time during church. Mom and Dad were very proud of me. Bryson was not as good as I was but he got through it! I promise to be good at my baptism too!! Bryson's parents Aimee and Nate had a wonderful time and are very proud of Byson.

Oh, Rusty!!

Well, Mommy and Daddy thought nit would be cute for me to take my picture with Rusty. He is so big compared to me. What if he eats me? Allright fine, I will take the picture, but I don't have to be happy about it!

It's Mommy's birthday!!

Happy Birthday Mommy!! Aren't I a great present? You know I have been sleeping really well and allowing you and Daddy to get some sleep, probably more than you thought you would get. I love my bouncy chair with its vibrating feature and this super soft pink blanket. I think it may be my favorite blanket thus far.

I'm Home!!!

Wow, this is my new house!! I really like it here. There is a dog and a cat, lots of bright lights and lots of people wanting to hold me all of the time. I can get used to this being held all of the time. Don't let Mommy and Daddy hear that though. They have no idea how little sleep I am going to let them get. He,He!!

Welcome to the world!

Wow, Mom sure is good at this labor thing. She had me out in no time!! I was born on October 25th, 2007 at 3:57pm. Mom was just finishing up watching Jeopardy, it think I may have heard the last question, but my screaming kinda of drowned out the other sounds in the room.

I measured 6lbs. 12oz and 19 1/2" long. Ha! A lot smaller than Mom thought I would be. Maybe that is why she was able to get me out so easy, or was it the 2 epidurals she got?

Better Late than Never!!

I thought I would enter the 21st century and make Maya a blog. I can't backdate anything so I will just start now and go forward from here, so please forgive me. She will be telling you all of her adventures growing up in the Filippelli household. That in itself deserves its own blog, but we won't go there right now. Well here it is. Have fun reading!!
